Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers

Sep 8, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church (42) picks up a fumble and returns it for a touchdown in the third quarter against the New York Giants at AT

The Dallas Cowboys finally had one of those games. For years, I have watched games of teams across the NFL and from time to time, there was a team that would force 4+ TOs. I have waited for years to see it happen in Dallas and it finally happened Sunday night when they forced 6. The biggest, of which, was probably the first quarter fumble forced by Safety Barry Church when the New York Giants were in the red zone.

Against the Kansas  City Chiefs, Dallas needs to continue this focus on taking the ball away on defense. Alex Smith is one of the smartest and accurate QBs in the NFL and rarely throws interceptions, but as underdogs (which Dallas is) on the road, causing TOs is essential to winning the ball and starting 2-0.

Thanks for the critique. What do you see that could improve? I always try to improve my craft

Your craft is fine and my critique was a lighthearted attempt at ribbing. Wasnt a dis on your skills by any means. I guess I just expected more excitement or passion from the “boys” writers. Im very excited about these teams meeting. Chiefs need a bigger challenge and a few friends here in kc are “boys” fans and very anxious to see how they fair in the SEA OF RED that will be 80thou strong and loud. It will be a good game.

Gotcha. I was hoping it was friendly banter but hard to tell tone from text. I try to tone down the “crazy fan” angle and give a more subjective analysis… Chiefs were my preseason worst to first pick that happens every year. Very excited to see it pan out especially since Reid knows the Cowboys so well

All good points. Need to establish a win streak. Not the same old win one lose one trend. OL needs to run block better. Both CBs need to play better. I felt Carr was soft in the 4th qtr. Boys need to stop run. Hopeful that Dunbar’s speed is a difference maker.
