Hype. It’s fueled by passion but can all too soon end up in heartache. Such is the current state of mind many fans find themselves in after a Week One Dallas Cowboys victory over the  New York Giants. And some are even bold enough to predict an undefeated month of September for our Boys. Unfortunately, Dallas has a long history of living “down” to that hype. Breaking our hearts along the way. That’s why one Landry Hat contributor is wanting all of us to just slow down a bit. According to him, now’s not the time to get cocky.

Some fans, such as The Landry Hat Podcast’s co-host Kyle Minton, like to use a bit more caution when expressing their fan-love after a difficult win.  As the Cowboys prepare to go into Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, you can hear their faint warning yells in the distance: “Trap game! Trap game! Trap game!””

Kyle explains his cautious optimism for the Cowboys start below in his first video blog of the new season. As always, viewer discretion is advised.
