NFL Gameday – NFL Network
Steve Mariucci
Pick: Dallas
Acknowledges the 0-4 record at home to the Giants, but predicts the Cowboys break the streak.
Grade: C
I don’t necessarily mean this in a bad way, but does anyone else view Mariucci as kind of, well, “motherly” in his analysis?
Season Record: 1-0

Marshall Faulk
Pick: Dallas
Says he “can’t imagine (Dallas) losing this game in primetime in front of Jerry.”
Grade: D
You don’t have to imagine it, Marshall; you work for NFL Network – surely they have tape from the past four years
Season Record: 1-0

Kurt Warner
Pick: Dallas
Says there’s too many injuries and too many question marks for New York to win.
Grade: D
New York could have easily won this with the team they fielded if they hadn’t turned the ball over six times.
Season Record: 1-0

Warren Sapp
Pick: Dallas
Cites the $100 million dollar deal for Tony Romo, and says he “can’t mess it up in the boss’s house.”
Grade: D
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Warren, despite the dirty messes of the past, you know, four straight years.
Season Record: 1-0

Michael Irvin
Pick: Dallas
No commentary. Applauded the panel on their wisdom.
Grade: C
I got the sense the rest of the panel expected this pick from Irvin. Hmm. Weird…
Season Record: 1-0

Fan Poll
Pick: New York
56% of fans polled pick the Giants to win.
Grade: F
Ha! Eat it, haters.
Season Record: 0-1

Man, I hope this tally keeps going. I hate that these talking heads blabber on and never get called on it. Not that there will be any repercussions from this. Still fun to know.

Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see how they grade out if it continues the whole season.
