One of the benefits The Landry Hat has over other Dallas Cowboys sites is the size of our staff. Made up of die-hard cowboys fans from various parts of the world gives us a unique and varied perspective I think our readers enjoy. It also affords us a great number of opinions on all things Cowboy. One of our most we’ll received articles is always our staff predicti0ns for games. I’m happy to announce that tradition continues below. Enjoy!
Steven Mullenax, Editor: Whenever the NFC East plays against one another, throw out the normal analysis. Rivalry means something in our division. I expect a high scoring game and Dallas has had good success playing New York in opening games. I say AT&T Stadium breaks the curse, Cowboys over the Giants 44-37.
Ehsan Azad, Staff Writer: Sunday night might be the beginning of a new Tony Romo. I’m talking about MVP Romo! The Romo and Dez show shred the Giants for a 42 to 21 win!
Jeff Magnia, Senior Writer: It will be another shoot out between these two teams. Dallas has the advantage in having two new, aggressive coordinators calling the offense and defense. Cowboys also want to break the undefeated streak the New York Giants have at AT&T Stadium. Dallas wins 37-34.
Michael Huff, Senior Writer: The Dallas Cowboys shred the Giants defense. The middle of the field is open all day, as can be expected with Dan Connor as middle linebacker. Cowboys win 31-17.
Mike Burke, Staff Writer: Dallas 35, New York 17.
Mark Lane, Senior Writer: Again, like last year with the Giants, I see them running into a buzz saw. I think the Cowboys defense will look a little more human than we were expecting, but Dez Bryant is going to live up to expectations. I’m seeing a 31-24 type of game here with Dez’s teammates anxious to watch the film on Monday just to see his highlights.
