Jason Witten, James Hanna, Gavin Escobar, Dante Rosario, Andre Smith

The first “surprise” comes in keeping five tight ends with Smith being a slight shock. Dallas is shifting to more multi-tight end sets which may necessitate the depth. Smith also brings a blocking capability that Hanna, Escobar and Rosario do not. The only issue with keeping five is that it likely reduced roster depth elsewhere.
