Stock Rising: Danny Coale

Preseason stats: 1 reception, 1 yard, 1 target

The only reason Danny Coale’s stock is rising is because it simply can not get any lower. He recorded his first official catch of the preseason in last weekend’s Oakland Raiders game. Unfortunately, it went for a single yard and it was his only target of the night. Did I forget to mention this is his second year on the team and that reception was his only third ever? Yep. Injuries suck. Unfortunately, the only way Coale makes the Cowboys final roster now is if he has a break-out performance in one of the next three final preseason games. But because of his injury history with the team, that might not even be enough.

Keep Jared Green. Just because I’d like to see his dad (a former deadskin) root for the Cowboys.
