Stock Rising: Anthony Amos

Preseason stats: 2 receptions, 20 yards, 2 targets, 1 tackle

The “other” Anthony has quietly had a nice camp with the Cowboys. “Quietly” being the optimum word here. After failing to get targeted in the Hall of Fame game, Amos came back strong with a two reception performance against the Raiders. But the undrafted rookie out of Middle Tennessee State will need to make a bigger impact in the final three preseason games to even be considered for final roster. Amos does play special teams and had a tackle in the game against Miami, which is a plus. But if he doesn’t make a bigger splash in the preseason soon, Amos will probably wash out.

Keep Jared Green. Just because I’d like to see his dad (a former deadskin) root for the Cowboys.
