Dud: DeMarco Murray, RB2 – (Fourth Round or Lower)

This year this is a lack of talent at running back, making the position a priority. But for me, taking Murray any higher than the fourth round is a risk. He simply hasn’t proven himself as a reliable fantasy producer. The second year back has yet to play an entire season with the Cowboys due to injury. Combine that with the fact he’s only hit pay-dirt six times in his entire career, and you have the makings for a fantasy bust. Although Murray has promised a big season, I think I’d want more proof before splashing on him any higher.

“But does that mean you should draft him with your first round pick? Probably not. But he will almost be guaranteed to be taken mid-second round. So if you want him, you’ll probably have to go up to get him. Or you could always be patient and hope he falls to you…good luck.” – Sounds like what many said about Frederick.

A stretch for Witten in the fourth? I love the guy too, but I’m not looking at ANY TEs prior to the sixth round. And you’d take him BEFORE Romo? I think you should quit Fantasy Football right now!

Dunbar is Felix Jones, 2nd edition. Some games, he will get you double digits points, other weeks, he will be lucky to break a 2!

I’d be interested in knowing how poorly you do in this year’s fantasy football season. Maybe that could be a weekly posting for you.
