    I think maybe Free’s problems last year were psychological. It’s possible he thought he was being paid more than he was worth and the pressure to live up to his paycheck got the better of him – a self-fullfilling financial equivalent of the Peter Principle. Now that he’s taken a 50% paycut he can relax and play without the additional pressure of making “too much money”. Whatever last year was about, I hope he does better this year.

    Very few people recall that Doug Free went from the premier lineman position of LT (the blind side of Tony Romo) and switched to RT. Anybody that has played the Offensive Line can tell you that the view is different, the responsibility is flipped, and typically the defenders are not the same (so technique changes). I look forward to the NASTINESS the Dallas Cowboys have had in the past.
