The Dallas Cowboys start training camp this weekend. Players are actually  making their way to Oxnard, California today. This year’s training camp has more unanswered questions then most. Let’s go over the top ten burning questions I have going into this year’s Dallas Cowboys training camp:

10. How much rust will quarterback Tony Romo show?

Everyone pretty much agrees. Romo is the linchpin for the team’s post-season dreams this year. Unfortunately, he has been regulated to light throwing and sideline coaching so far this off-season due to back surgery to remove a cyst (one can only surmise it looked a bit like owner Jerry Jones). An off-season, by the way, that saw Romo get $108 million richer. Now that he’s been cleared to play by team physicians, most believe he’ll return to form. But getting paid and getting older has ruined the careers of many a player before him. Although I don’t get a sense that will happen to Romo any time soon, there’s always a possibility.

Frederick should play his first round position of C. We need him to call out the blocking assignments and take that off Tony’s pre snap plate. Leary hopefully starts at G. Let Bernadeau, Cook and Arkin go. If Kowalski can stay healthy, let him fight Livings for the other G position. Get nasty on the OL. Mauler’s attitude. Win early, win often. Go Cowboys.
