Dallas Cowboys Figuring It Out?

No news is good news. The rumors, arrests and everything in between seems to be at a standstill in Dallas. No worries though, that’s a good thing.

As usual there seems to be plenty of hype behind the Cowboys before the season starts, but the good news this time is that it could be real. That’s right I already drank the Kool-Aid, but there is something different about this year.

Other than the Josh Brent thing, it looks as if the Cowboys have finally found the way to stay out of the media. There is no news of arrests, or disgruntled athletes, or issues with personnel. It seems as if the time might actually just be focused on football.

Maybe Jerry Jones finally figured something out, that it might actually be more beneficial to not talk than to just say something for the heck of it.

I don’t want to raise the Super Bowl banner yet but I like the way things have started this offseason, and if the season goes anywhere close to as smooth as this then I think we might be in for a big surprise.

I LOVE me some Cowboys. I am getting tired of getting my hopes up and going to games every year, just to be let down again by a team who’s potential is through the roof. I am a cowboy for life but may stop going to games and buying merch if we don’t start playing UP to our opponents level and OUR potential. Go Boys.

whats OUR potential, there are a lot teams with better offensive and defensive line, cowboys still are smoke screen just because the gm and now is son are saying they are for super bowl contenders, no solid lines

The more Jerry Jones stays away the better.

staying out of the media is the key to figuring it out? The Browns, Titans, Jags, Chiefs and others have stayed out – does that mean they all are set for blockbuster years, too? Until they can put an OL together that doesn’t look like a black Friday rush on Christmas toys, let’s stay more realistic. After all, Jerry Jones still has his little hands in the dough, and that can only lead to a bad cookie.

People should be on the right side of the law. Athlete’s are pampered, but they are still adults and should know right from wrong. Staying out of trouble should not be expected and achieved.

jerry has had about 20 years to learn how to form a football team . so far he has managed to talk up a good team but not put one together. it looks like, and i hope, things are looking up in the gm dept. if he can just manage to hold his ego in check a little bit and let his staff tell him how to build his team the cowboys will be ok. i dont expect him to completely quit meddling in his teams structure but if he wont trade off all the premium pics and let a football person use most of them, the team can be one of the top teams in the league as they should be. the league is much better off when the cowboys are contenders. they are one of the premier teams in the league and loved or hated by just about everyone. the league is much more interesting and many more people are interested when they are in the playoffs
