Danny White got the Cowboys to 3 straight NFC championship games. Tony Romo has won one playoff game. No question, Danny is better.

    • Brian

McNabb got Philly to a bunch of NFC championship games too. Does that mean McNabb was better than Romo? Playoffs and championship games come from a team effort. Romo vs. White straight up, IMO, goes to Romo. Even though I was a huge White fan growing up, nod to Romo

  • Ronald W. Jones

Obviously these votes for Romo are from a younger generation that are caught up in the ‘stats craze’ tha’t sweeping the NFL. Sure Romo has the ‘stats’…but ‘stats’ don’t win games. Leadership and intelligence wins games. It’s about situational football. Romo doesn’t get it…that is why he throws so many INTs in crucial moments of the game. Danny White understood that you have to ‘live to play another play’…not throw the ball into the arms of the defenders. You can’t force things that are not there. If Danny White was QB of the last 5 or 6 Cowboy teams…believe me we would have won more than just one play-off game. Maybe Parcells might have stuck around longer instead of pulling his hair out of his head watching Romo make one momentous mistake after another.
The facts speak for themselves…..A QB with only one play-off win…vs….a QB that took the Cowboys to 3 straight NFC championship games.
HANDS DOWN IT’S #11 DANNY WHITE!

uh, not Obviously! 54 years Old and had season tickets when Danny boy was the QB,Loved him as a Punter with the threat to throw! but thats it! He had Great stats, but as You said, that doesnt win games! Tony Loves the Game and Thats why I want him as the Starting QB for this team! Give Him a Decent OL and running game and I believe we will win alot!

  • Kenneth Robinson

No you people dont get it !
It took Payton Manning 8 years to win 1 play off game

Romo has been starting only since 2006….and he did not get a full season since 2007 …..Lay of of romo

  • Juanito Juanito

easy, romo more talent with a lot better moves but with a bad players protecting him, in nfl win and lose depends of the team and the kind of coaches that a qb have

  • Brian

I loved watching Danny White when I was growing up, but I think Romo has done more with less. Particularly, the offensive line, for most of Romo’s career has been offensive.

  • AhJeah

Tony romo is TERRIBLE! I doubt if he will EVER win a playoff game, millions of Cowboy fans wake up daily hoping for news that he had been traded. Until then, the nightmare continues.
