WEEK 6 – Washington Redskins @ Dallas Cowboys

Prediction: WIN (4-2). Let’s be honest, this is all about RG3. If Robert Griffin III is 100%, the Redskins are lethal. And they had the Cowboys number last season winning both match-ups. The biggest sting being the 28-18 loss in the final game of the season that spoiled the Cowboys chances at a playoff berth.

This year’s Redskins will be better defensively as linebackers Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan will be returning from season-ending injuries. Still, the injury to Griffin will do more to determine their win/loss record than anything. How he reacts and plays with the injury is something all Cowboys fans should be paying attention too. Griffin’s play alone transformed the Redskins from laughing stock to playoff contender. Without him, they are a sub .500 team.

But when the Cowboys and Redskins face-off, throw out all the stats. I still say NFC East rivals split their series. Dallas should win this one at home, especially if Griffin is less than 100% healthy.
