The 49ers after 53 seasons were 431-306-15. This represents 752 games played. We have to give them their next 42 games to create an equal pace. This come to 18 more wins, 24 more losses for 449-330-15. There you have it folks, a team ahead of the Cowboys pace, but only by one game at this point.

The Browns are next with a record of 433-306-13. As with the 49ers we must give them their next 42 games as well. This adds 17 wins, 25 losses to the ledger. Bringing the Browns to 450-331-13. A 2 game lead on the Cowboys pace. It just goes to show you how powerful the 2 teams who came to the NFL from the AAFC were back in the mid to late 1940s and the 1950s. Great teams both. So now we have 2 teams with a pace ahead of the Cowboys. Will there be any others?

Next would be the Rams. After 53 seasons they were 380-303-20. This is 703 games. We must give them their next 91 games to create an equal pace. Doing this brings their ledger to 408-366-20. That is 40 games behind the Cowboys pace. It’s good to see this after two straight teams where we were slightly behind their pace in equal games played.

We’re now at the Steelers, who after 53 seasons were at 311-347-19. This is a total of 677 games. We need to add their next 117 games. 65 wins, 52 losses. Brings us to 376-399-19. 72 games behind the Cowboys pace. Of course, it would be wrong not to mention the Super Bowls in this discussion. The Steelers do have one more than the Cowboys. Curse Fred Swearinger’s butt.

Next up is the Eagles. Through 53 seasons they were 283-371-23. This is 677 games just like the Steelers so once again we add their next 117 games. Add 66 wins, 51 losses. Brings their tally to 349-422-23. 99 games behind the Cowboys pace.

I completely agree that the Cowboys hands down in comparison have it. They are also the only team in NFL history to have 20 consecutive winning seasons. The next closest was 16 seasons. Cowboys rule

Unfortunately, poor management has put the Cowboys in a state of mediocrity and as long as JJ is calling the shots it will remain so. As time goes by other teams will rise above them in not only fan base but also as the greatest franchise in history. Sad, that JJ continues along this path.
