Dez Bryant is impressed with rookie wide receiver Terrance Williams. The fourth year wide receiver believes the Baylor product, who used to be the mock Dez on their scout team, has varied talents.
“He’s a great receiver,” Bryant said in between rounds at the second annual Cowboys Home Run Derby. “He can stretch the field. He can go deep. He can make a short pass turn into a long pass.”
However, it’s easy to tell Bryant is more impressed with fellow OSU Cowboy, runningback Joseph Randle.
“He’s a great runningback. He has vision. He can see the field. That’s what makes him so great.”
Dez Bryant has caught 22 touchdown passes from Tony Romo, tied with teammate Jason Witten. Still, the player with the most touchdown passes from Romo is Terrell Owens at 34. Could Bryant, who said a 20 TD/2,000-yard season was possible, surpass Owens?
“That’s not my attention,” Bryant said. “If it happens, it happens. I try to go out there and do whatever Romo and Coach Garrett and the team want me to do. I promise you: I’m going give my 100% effort.”
