No… we should have stay at 18 and took Ried, or at least got a 2nd and 3rd rounfd pick.. J.J. is a IDIOT.. How do New England pull off 4picks for the 29th pick? Hmmm I knowchow.. We have the dumbest Owner in the world..

I agree I thought we at least had their 1st and a 2nd round pick. I have no idea why they continue to do dumb moves. I would have been fine as long as it was one and two picks. Then to go and pick a guy that was projected to go 3rd round. All this was is that they needed OL bad and they saw that they everyone was being taking and jumped to early for what was left.

I’m not sure how much longer I can stand watching this owner continue to hurt the team with poor decisions concerning player acquisitions. We could have gotten Fredrick in the 3rd or 4th round. We don’t seem to understand that you take the best player available in the first round regardless of position need. I may be an NFL fan free agent soon.

I am with you Dram. Could have gotten him in the 3rd easily. Cowboys just don’t understand how to draft and play expectations of where players are going to get picked. I don’t care if we put a 1st round grade on a player. For example if a player is not expected to be picked until the 4th round, then don’t pick him until the 3rd round.

  • The New Al Davis

Move over Al Davis, there is a new bone head in town. Jerry Jones!

Cowboys gone be ok Romo needs someone who can protect him… This maybe a great pick… It’s easy to say we could of got him in the 3rd or 4th round but who’s to say he would of been there… So cowboy fans don’t get upset just get ready to enjoy the ride… We don’t have a bad team J. J. Is just tweak n it…

  • Crummir

A pick made a round early I agree, but offensive Line is our biggest priority. All the Guards and tackles we all wanted to fall did not, Jerry took the #1 center in the draft, a selection that immediately upgrades our offensive line. Would I have liked it better in the 2nd round, yes , 3rd ,say what you want he would not have been there. If we just landed the next Spepnoski or Gurode how bad will this pick be then.

Underestimate Wisconsin linemen, especially tackles at your peril.

Wisconsin has a tradition of wide-bodies
