The Dallas Cowboys Are On The Clock

Many long weeks of analysis and research are about to be put to the test today as 32 NFL teams choose the players they feel are the missing link between them and a Super Bowl Championship.

The Dallas Cowboys have been linked to several different names over the past months, but not a single one has stuck long enough to become the rumored pick.

Chance Warmack and Jonathan Cooper were huge names to begin with. Last year’s offensive line fiasco led many to assume the interior of the line would absolutely be addressed in the first round. Most mock drafts have them gone in the top ten killing almost all hope of either becoming a Cowboy.

Kenny Vaccaro was a hot name for a long time. The release of Gerald Sensabaugh only fueled rumors that the rangy safety would be coming to Dallas but talks of him have since fizzled.

The list of potential draftees goes on and on including defensive tackles Sheldon Richardson and Sylvester Williams, to Alabama tackle D.J. Fluker.

There is even some speculation that Jerry might be blinded by the lights once again and go for a flashy name such as Tavon Austin. That’s not to say that Austin wouldn’t be a welcome commodity, but it’s no secret there are much more pressing needs elsewhere.

Well the wait is over Cowboy fans and perhaps these next few names called will be the difference in getting this team back to where we all know it needs to be.
