I am so sick of the gay agenda being pushed on people. We have it pushed on us every day. If its so natural and normal, why is it news?

    • Jbbravo

I am sick of it too. If they want to be gay then fine its not my place to judge. I don’t like how I should be forced to accept something I don’t believe in. Then act like something is wrong with me for not accepting it.

      • http://www.facebook.com/bryankcotton Bryan Cotton

No one is asking you to accept anything. However, fighting against it is another story.

        • Jbbravo

Ok well I don’t think they should have a place in this sport. If the want to play football go make a gay league and give us a choice what we want to watch. That won’t happen though because they have to have everything their way. Just like gay marriage they just can’t make another name and ceremony for it. They want us to be ok with them having a Christian marriage in our churches. Stop trying to make us change our beliefs because we won’t do it.

          • http://www.facebook.com/bryankcotton Bryan Cotton

You are beyond ignorant. Make their own league? You sound like a 5 year old little boy who is angry because he isn’t getting his way. And I have yet to see anyone fighting to “have Christian marriages in ‘your’ churches” What makes it ‘your’ church and not a church for anyone? People are fighting for marriage equality, which has NOTHING to do with your church. They want equal rights, which equates to over 1,000 Federal benefits that are extended to married couples in this country. And if your Christians values are so precious to you, why aren’t you fighting to outlaw divorce?

          • Jbbravo

It is every ones church that don’t mean that we have to support them being gay. As far as me not getting my way they are doing that exact thing. They can’t have their way so they choose to attack us. It has happened gay couples are mad because churches refuse to marry them. So don’t act like I’m upset because I don’t get my way I won’t support the leauge if they choose to start allowing gay players and so will other people. Outlaw divorce? Divorce is a choice and if they were married under god they would know they should not make that choice. Don’t mean that God will hold against them if they were saved just that he does not support that choice. Just like he does not support you being gay. If I were to be ok with gays I would be supporting something against God and that’s not what I’m going to do. Other people think the same way actually most people think that they just choose to hide it instead of stick up for it.

      • Erock

I’m sorry, but I’m confused. Just what is it that you think you’re “being forced” to accept? That gays are here too? That gays are not 2nd classi citizens? That gays have the same (equal) value as you do? Don’t you accept those things already? What century are you in? What are you being forced to accept?

    • http://www.facebook.com/bryankcotton Bryan Cotton

It’s not being pushed down your throat. Interesting analogy you chose, btw. Gays are fighting for their rights and equal treatment. You would probably have said the same thing about blacks 40 years ago. Why is the black agenda being pushed down our throat when all they wanted was to be able to marry whoever they wanted, to use the same water fountains. Then again, it all that was normal, why was it news, right? Do you see how flawed your theory is? Probably not

      • http://www.facebook.com/david.ayers.372 David Ayers

I see your theory is very flawed. Comparing race to sexual orientation? Come on man!

    • Christian for Equal Love

I guess white people felt the same way when African Americans were trying to get equal rights as well. All over the radios, TV’s and newspapers. Its just Too bad they didn’t have social media back then. Please think before you speak Sir.

      • Erock

Christian! You’re so right! If you read jbbravo’s comment and imagine that he’s saying that about a black person it REALLY DOES sound so discriminatory! Wow jbbravo, you’re a bigot, did you know that? By the way, I don’t think gay couples would want to get married in your church. I think it’s more about equal rights.

        • Jbbravo

They do want to get married in churches. There is gay couples that are upset because the churches won’t allow them to get married in the church by a pastor. You are comparing me saying this about a black person? I have nothing against black people only gay people. I still consider gay people as my brother I just won’t support them being gay. There is nothing in my religion against black people just gays. So I’m a bigot and a racist because I stick up for my religion?

      • http://www.facebook.com/david.ayers.372 David Ayers

Skin color and sexual orientation are two different things! You can’t choose the race your born into. Everyone talks about people years ago as if we are so enlightened and more intelligent. Well, as I see it, our country was much stronger and much more united years ago. We are on a down hill slide. America is and will continue to pay for its love of sinful behavior such as abortion and embracing the gay culture. Say about me what you will but to me it’s gods teachings that matter. I do believe in god, and I also believe in gods wrath.

    • Erock

It’s a fight for equality. You can’t do that silently.

    • http://www.facebook.com/CorManDallas Cory Smith

I see this post and the one on your FB wall about it. Who knew we got under your skin so much?

It’s news because of the politics. It will be news until there is equality. Look at history.. women’s rights, civil rights. It is coming.

As far as supporting a player based on sexual orientation? Not blindly. It’s about how he plays football. I don’t want to know about the sexuality or sex life of the current player either. It’s about football. Can we leave it at that?

      • http://www.facebook.com/david.ayers.372 David Ayers

Apparently we can’t leave it at that. If we could, I would have no problem. I don’t want to know. Should all the straight players come out and express their affection for vaginas? Just play the game and leave what you prefer sexually in the bedroom with the person your having sex with!

  • OGTOMMYG

So if Demarcus Ware was gay 60% of you wouldn’t want him on our team?

  • californy

Someone private life should be kept private I would feel uncomfortable if I had a team mate who was open about it

    • http://www.facebook.com/bryankcotton Bryan Cotton

The rest of the team is open about being straight and all the comments that are made about women the in the locker room

      • jrcowboy49

        This is normal!

  • http://twitter.com/OldFrog75 Old Frog

Hate to say it but it probably depends on production. If he were the next Walter Payton no one would care but anything short of that would most likely create some problems. Seems like it would create unnecessary tension in the locker room.

  • http://twitter.com/pablogprince Pablo T. Prince

Such a discriminating question…Guys this is 2013. Would you dare to ask “Will you support a colored player” Pleaseeee

    • http://www.facebook.com/bryankcotton Bryan Cotton

It’s a valid question. It may be 2013 but just look at some of the ignorant comments from the homophobic closet cases below

    • Erock

      That’s a great point!

  • jrcowboy49

Want to shower with an open queer?

    • DougDigs

I do every day. What’s the big deal?

      • jrcowboy49

        You are who you are!

    • Christian for Equal Love

Are you Gay? Then why be paranoid?? That naked gay man isn’t looking at you anyway!

      • http://www.facebook.com/david.ayers.372 David Ayers

Why wouldn’t he be looking? If you were showering with a woman you wouldn’t look? If gay men can shower with straight men, then straight men should be allowed to shower with women.

    • Dave

I don’t see how as a straight person that should bother you. It’s not like he’s gonna rape you, he should be treated as a teammate. It’s a locker room, not an adult theater. Besides, you probably already have showered with a queer. What difference TO YOU would it make if you knew first????

      • jrcowboy49

        You are weird!

  • pooh da sc cowboy

Thts not cool men r suposse to be wit women i dnt care about wut todays society thnks is acepptable god said its wrong so DARN IT ITS WRONG

    • http://www.facebook.com/bryankcotton Bryan Cotton

Learn grammar and then try to make your bullshit argument

      • Erock

        lol

  • http://www.facebook.com/Sadiemariemay Sadie May

Why in the hell wouldn’t I support an openly gay player?

What difference should it make to me?

  • http://www.facebook.com/CorManDallas Cory Smith

This is an unfortunate question as the answers are to be expected. Should be about his abilities and contribution as a player. Period.

The most discriminatory answers are those answering without their identity being clear. Brave.

(If gay marriage will cause the moral downfall of America, then I feel so powerful. I had no idea I could bring down an entire nation! Kind of like how we can cause natural disasters without knowing it. Fear us! /sarcasm)

How about we try something different and get some guys that can play and tell them to keep their sexual preferences in their bedrooms, or wherever else it is that they prefer to practice them? In other words, seeing as how we’ve become the easy part of a lot of teams’ schedules, how about we focus on football and not some social experiment?
