they havent even begun to use cole beasley and dewayne harris to their potential. danny coale is a complete unknown. i think beasley would catch 100 balls a season if they throw it to him. hes not afraid to catch the ball and will move the chains. i say they need players in other positions much worse than at receiver

I agree, I love Dewayne Harris and believe Beasley is capable of catching 80+ passes a season. Another guy I would keep an eye on is James Hanna, there is just something about the guy as a pass catching TE I like and if he is used properly I wouldnt be the slightest bit surprised to see him and Dez take over this season.

Ogletree is basically a bust. Cut him and move on.

    • Artie C

Luckily, he moved on to Tampa Bay

Yes they have their third receiver option in house. Harris would become a better receiver, with more playing time. I mean come on we have seen his speed. Just think Bryant, Austin, and the speed of Harris sounds like a coverage nightmare. They have other issues like the O-line they need to address in my opinion.

I think Harris is a #2 receiver, or will be shortly. Miles Austin is a slot receiver ideally,IMO, and should be the #3. Let Cole Beasley work his way starting as #4 option and spell Miles in the slot – eventually take his spot.

With the lost of Phillips, Felix and Ogletree from this offense we lose 713 yards in the passing game. I rather replace this passing yardage in the run game with an additional 600 yards and the rest to the passing game. This would move us from the 31 best rushing team to 14 in the NFL. I think Harris continues to develop for us.
