Taking Stock Of The Dallas Cowboys

Buy Low: Kyle Orton.  At some point Tony Romo will miss some time due to injury.  Buy this stock to ensure good returns at the quarterback position in that event.

Sell High: Ernie Sims.  Ernie rose from his couch to play well in replacement of injured inside linebackers, Sean Lee and Bruce Carter.  These guys will be back next year, so let’s get what we can for Sims.

Buy and Hold: Anthony Spencer.  This stock has been paying high dividends in 2012.  Sell the farm to buy more of it in 2013.

Dump These Stocks: When you pay too much for a stock that continues to dive, all you can do is sell it for a loss.  Can I interest you in some shares of Doug Free?  No, how about Kevin Ogletree?

Wait and See: Might want to hold onto Lawrence Vickers stock to see if it increases in value.  Due to going to the pass 100% to get back into games and the extended absence of DeMarco Murray, we are not sure what we have here and need to take a wait and see position.

Hold With Caution: The high value stock of Sean Lee and Bruce Carter was worth the price based on performance in games.  We just need to see if we can get a full season out of them.

Dump it Now: All offensive lineman not named Tyron Smith.  It’s time to take our lumps and start over.  Perhaps we can find some good value in the draft.

Poised to Take Off: Tyrone Crawford, Dwayne Harris and Cole Beasley.  Invest in these stocks now for a big payoff in coming years.

Trading Suspended List: Cannot sell these stocks until the suspension on trading is lifted.  This is everyone on injured reserve and that’s quite a list.
