(This contest has now ended. A winner has been randomly chosen and contacted. Thank you!) The Landry Hat has partnered with Courtyard by Marriott, the official hotel sponsor of the NFL, to bring our readers a very special giveaway contest. One of our lucky readers will receive a signed football from the Dallas Cowboys’ future Hall of Fame tight end, Jason Witten, plus a $250 Courtyard gift card.

This year, Courtyard by Marriott is introducing a new feature called the “Greatness on the Road Award.”  It is never easy for a team to win on the road and the same goes for the everyday business traveler. Each week throughout the season, Courtyard and the NFL will be honoring one standout on-the-road NFL player who will be dubbed the Greatness on the Road™ player of the week by the NFL and showcased on NFL.com and Thursday Night Football. Every Thursday night throughout the season Courtyard properties will also be showing games in their lobbies and offering popcorn, happy hour specials and tailgate food for guests to watch the game.

To coincide with the player award, one frequent business traveler and Courtyard guest will also be honored with Marriott reward points and featured on Courtyard’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/courtyard). Through their Facebook sweepstakes, Courtyard will also be giving away TVs, Super Bowl tickets, Courtyard Giftcards, Pro Bowl tickets and more. But, the ultimate prize is for one lucky “road warrior” to win tickets to all of their favorite NFL team’s 2013 road games! (Airfare, hotel and transportation included).

Great offer!! Witten is a warrior and future HOF’er!

I’d have to say Jason witten is the road warrior, he gives 110% every game he comes out 8-10 catches for about 100 yards consistency is the key to success

  • Steven Phillips

I’d say DeMarcus Ware is the road warrior for sure. The man doesn’t miss games and strikes fear in the hearts of opposing offenses.

  • http://twitter.com/osupride97 Tonni Shook

Bruce Carter is hands down the road warrior. He has the most tackles on the defensive side of the ball. His best games have been away at Seattle, Atlanta, & Philly.

Statistically speaking I would put Tony Romo in there for “road warrior” because 12 of his INT’s have come at home which mean he’s only thrown 3 picks on the road

Jason witten is the road warrior, and home warrior. He is the best on the team by far, and some people on the team make that easier for him if ya know what I mean.

Jason Witten is my road warrior because he has 33 catches for 298 yards in away games this year. Jason comes every single and and gives 200% every single game and motivates the other players to do better.

Tony Romo. He always comes to play. Look at the overtime win last season in San Fransisco. Tony “The Road Warrior” Romo.

  • Nancy Gossow

Tony Romo is “The Road Warrior” for sure. He is in it to win!

probably tony romo. he’s just doing so much to keep it together on the road.

  • Todd

Jason Witten. He is a beast at home also which means he is consistent regardless of where he plays. His performance does not drop off when he leaves home.

    Jason Witten all the way!!

It has to be Witten or Romo! Romo playing behind a mediocre O-line keeps us in games, keeps plays alive while getting pressure from every direction and makes something happen! Also for anyone who has forgotten last years performance from Romo in San Fran when he played with broken ribs and a punctured lung and pulled out the overtime win… Amazing to watch as a cowboys fan! Great performance!!! And Witten is just a plain stud… First game of the season in New York to put your life on the line playing with a lacerated spleen! Way to put the team first guys!!! It’s just terrible we play so bad at home!
Now if we can just pull it together and make the playoffs!!! Forever a COWBOYS FAN!!!

  • Austin Baroudi

Jason Witten is the road warrior simply because he’ a beast on the road!!! 298 yards and 33 catches in the 6 road games he’s played this year! It’s got to be Jason!

The guy that drives the ‘bus’ is the road worrior of the Dallas Cowboys… If i can have a second road worrior, it would be DWare….!!!

  • Jill McHale

Tony Romo. In 2 of their 3 road wins, he has had his highest completion percentage and passer rating of the season. He has played far better on the road than he has at home.

Jason Witten is the most consistent & reliable!

I’m going with Jason witten. He is te main guy that tony looks to when there’s nothing open as somehow Witt comes through with a big catch. He’s a trooper and a class act.

  • Nancy R

I would love to win this for my 74 year old father who has always loved the Cowboys and Jason Witten is one of our all time favorites.

Jason Whitten is bar-none the Cowboys Road Warrior. His play has helped to pioneer what today’s Tight End looks like in the NFL. Another Cowboys Future Hall of Fame player and the modern day Mr. Cowboy!
