Words for Success: The Spoiler Addition

After a heart-sinking loss to a hated division rival, let’s take a optimistic view of one of the best months for Dallas Cowboys fans.

Tony Romo – Mr. November, you’ve been known as. It’s time for a big November push this year, once again. It starts Sunday night against the undefeated Falcons. The defense is over-rated and are liable to give up big plays. You’re right, Jason Garrett should let you throw more. Just don’t prove your critics right.

Ernie Simms – It looks like your amazing game as a fill-in last week will just have to be built upon. You could be called up for significant playing time due to the injury to Dan Conner. Who knows, you might even show the NFL that you were supposed to be a first round draft pick. For your sake, I hope you can make “Barbie” Carpenter the only first round linebacker bust the Cowboys have had to deal with in recent memory.

Dan Bailey – Mr. Automatic. I don’t even sweat when you line up for a field goal. You are under-appreciated, and that’s ok. I appreciate you accuracy and even though the kick sailed left against Baltimore, I have a feeling you’ll be kicking quite a few more game winning/ tieing kicks before the end of the year.

Morris Claiborne – Get you some. The “takeovers” are starting to pour in, and your ball skills will be needed against two of the best receivers in the NFL. I’m glad you got to practice against Miles Austin and Dez Bryant, because Roddy White and Julio Jones are quite a tandem.

Rob Ryan – Sadly, you just might get your head coaching gig after the success your unit is having this year. I don’t want to see you go. Maybe replace Jason Garrett with you?  Hire your brother as Defensive Coordinator?  Who wouldn’t want the Ryan brother’s on the same team?
