Does The Loss Of Sean Lee Mark The End Of The Cowboys Playoff Hopes?

On Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys released devastating news. Their defensive captain and third year stud middle linebacker, Sean Lee, will likely miss the rest of the season due to a right big toe injury. Lee is expected to be placed on injured reserve today after tearing ligaments in his toe in Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

This is a tremendous loss for the Cowboys, whose defense was the lone bright spot in what has become a mediocre season. With the heart and soul of their defense sidelined, is the Cowboys’ playoff hopes sidelined as well?

    Does The
Loss Of Sean Lee Mark The End Of The Cowboys Playoff Hopes? ……………There were never any viable playoff hopes for this year except in Jerry’s mind!

  • kevin mac

Never had hopes they would go to the playoffs. Not with Jerry .

  • mytexas1st

It’s going to hurt without him. My question is, will anybody on the team step up? Not very hopeful at this point.

  • californy

No man is a football team. but this team doesnt have another Tony Romo or Sean lee on their bench, this is a huge loss, you can forget about the tackles for a moment, it the leadership qualities that will be missing from the team the most. Sean Lee led by example and his locker room persona will be missed.

  • Ronin G.

No BUT they weren’t going to the playoffs with Sean Lee. This team is filled with a bunch of over-hyped, very average, gutless players. They haven’t been able to overcome ANY kind of adversity since the days of the triplets. With years of horrible drafting, the Cowboys are littered with average players at best. As long as Jerrah’s the GM. This team will continue to be mediocre. In the words of Bill Parcells, you are, what your record says you are. Plain & simple. When you’re .500 since the ’95 season. It doesn’t get any more average than that.
