I think Tony Romo has had enough time to prove himself !! We see year after year he can t take us to the next level !!!!!!!….Face it, he will never be Troy Aikman, Danny White much. less Stauback…. Get us a Quarter back !!!!

One person doesn’t make a team.

      • californy

Some people get it and you are one of them. Many people blogging here are very much clueless.

Give us a QB!!. Hold on let just go grab one since they grow on trees. Or better yet lets ask the 27 other teams in the NFL to give us one. Tom, Arron, Drew, Payton Ben and maybe even Eli. Guess what all these dudes have in common. Good coaching above averge OL and good or great defeneses. The only one not a first round pick Brady. Please stop it. Your hurting my head

lol name 1 QB who ever went on to a field by himself and won a championship! Pleeeeease learn how the game works before bashing the QB with the 2nd all time career passer rating (meaning he is the 2nd most efficient of all time) he has done his part. What did the 3 aforementioned QB’s have in common that Tony never had? A good OL, A solid running game and a “DEFENSE”. Tony averaged about 26 pts a game as a starter and the defense always managed to allow more. The teams that win championships have a defense that allows less than 20 pts a game. It appears he has the defense this year, but once again JJ and JG neglected the OL which means no running game and no time for plays to develop down field. I wish just one of you Romo haters would try to stand behind that horrid OL and try to do better. Trust me Brady, Manning, Brees etc would all get killed back there because none of them are as mobile as Tony!

I agree wholeheartedly…Seems most of the bashers are teens and early 20′s, having never watched a game in the 90′s when free agency wasn’t around!

If Romo fails again then Barry Orton starts. Period.

    • http://www.facebook.com/Dboyz62 David Perez

      Everyone fails.

    • californy

Barry Orton? If we start Orton with his lack of mobility he may get burried? lol

Tony Romo gives us hope of getting to the Promised Land and bringing home the Lombardi.

  • Frank Robison

Tony Romo is not a winner. Yes he does make some outstanding plays, but can not play under pressure. Instead of finding a way to win, he finds a way to lose. Look at his record in December. It is time to find a new QB.

    • californy

Frank The Cowboys have had a bad December record even before Tony was ever here. You are just another clueless fan.

    • NeedTime

Wow how do you sound. Name another QB in this league who could make the same plays he does under these conditions.

      • Sonny mane

I have seen it done…but tony and the off line need to get it together..bottom line…the qb is the heart of the team so under pressure he got to keep it pumping..real talk

  • californy

This team can not afford a player like Tony Romo and protect him adequately. I think he is done in Dallas, because I believe he may be looking something like a 10 year contract with high salary. Tony is a family man and must include their best intersest.on. The best interest would be a long NFL Career, and that wont happen behin this offensive line. The boy can not have both because of the monetary contstraits on the salary cap.

  • JIM

Tony is an exellent QB.He is a playmaker; If he can learn that a QB doesn’t always need to be a playmaker/sometimes a game manager,he could be a great QB.

  • bwall

It doesn’ matter who the qb is, as long as jerry is the gm, this franchise is bound to be medicore. Just like the past 17 years. He cares nothing about producing a winning football team, because this franshise sells just by name only no matter if they are 1-15 for last three years.

  • MCWeese

If I was Romo I would demand a trade after this season. He’s good quarterback on a snake bitten team.

    • Sonny mane

He’s the one who threw thoes pick so the team is not the problem completly…the offensive line needs to step it up a lilttle…thats what I think

      • Jimmy Marshall

Yes OL needs to step it up but is that romo’s fault they never thought to strengthen it?
