The Templeton “Faceman” Peck Award is given to the player who was a smooth operator that played under the radar. He’s the kind of  player who walks in the stadium with an innocent smile, and walks out with the opponent’s heart…while it’s still beating.

And the winner is…Wideout Kevin Ogletree. Although the battle for the third wide receiver position was waged all pre-season, Ogletree was barely the favorite going into Week One. He walked into New York a relative unknown, but walked out the Giant slayer with eight receptions for 114 yards and two touchdown. Despite  Ogletree’s two scores, nothing was colder or more “Face” like then the 13 yard catch on a slant to ice the game with 2:11 on the clock. Ice, Ice Kevin, too cold. Too cold.

You forgot a award, the under the Radar award. The guys has done it every since he has become a starter for the boys. You tend to expect it and not be wow by his high preformance of excellence, the winner is Sean Lee, for his 10 unassisted tackles and 12 tackle total for the game. This is typical vintage Sean lee.
