Steven mcGee has no future here in Dallas. The signing of Orton is team management way of saying they dont have trust in Steven leading the Cowboys anywhere in the near future. It also should be an indication to, that JG doesnt have the ability to develope NFL ready QB. Tony Romo is many ways has not devlope since his day with Sean Paytan despite having some career high in ranking. I have been studying what make a good head coach, and I will be looking into Jason background more intensively. Jason has been surrounded with Good football people but in my oppinion lack the on hand experiences in many things that other good head coaches has. It all start with getting the right player here and JG just hasnt had a good track record of doing that and developing player. Dont be fool, JG has been involve in management decision long before he has been Head coach here with the Dallas Cowboys.. He has more influence on JJ than most people think he has.

At this point, McGee is a camp arm. He will never be a NFL starting caliber QB. He has had years to develop and several games to show something, anything. He has not. He just isn’t any good. Time to move on. Use the roster spot for a real player. Draft a young QB next year.
