I felt about the same. I knew about the OL, I always knew. It not the injuries either, iut the talent level at the spot. Costa not starting material, and Holland is equal or better than Living. Bernardeau is worst than Kozier.
I was happy with the play of my guy Albrig, Hhamilton and my new guy Ben bass. I was dissapointed in Cole Beasley preformance.

I think you can come from this game with some good feeling. One thing that gave a positive to me was the “D” did put up a blank as a road team, it may have been Oakland and it may have been luck, but I’ll take more of that for it is something Dallas hasn’t had much of in recent times.
To finally see a SS play the way Barry Church is right off is a breath of fresh air to the staleness so often seen from that position since Darren Woodson and how about those young guys showing up on defense? Albright, Hamilton and Ben Bass along with the play of Carr at corner.
Anybody miss Newman of the last two years or Alan Ball? Didn’t think so; didn’t see any signs begging for the return of Brady James or Keith Brooking.
Look…. I know some of the mistakes made are the same ones made last year, but at least we got younger players making them that will get better and I promise you they won’t be as slow as the molasses swimmers of last year at some positions.
And……. mistakes did hurt this team last year, but lets be realistic here it wasn’t so much the penalties that cost Dallas as it was the bombs bursting over the heads of those guys mentioned above to include Frank Walker with them.
Don’t get shelled shocked before the bombs hit folks, this is a very different team and a lot younger, faster bunch that will only get better with patience and guidance.

LBs look great. Just like I knew they would. Young, fast, athletic. It’s not the same old D. There was some fire.
The O line? What a mess. Awful. There has to be a significant turn around in 3 weeks or we will be embarrassed on national TV.
