Realistically What To Expect From The Dallas Cowboys 2012/2013 Season

YAY!!! Training camp starts tomorrow.  Finally, it’s here! Pre-season games will shortly follow.  Over the last few weeks thoughts of what to realistically expect from the Dallas Cowboys for the upcoming season have been at the forefront of my mind. I’ve been trolling Facebook NFL groups and listening to others opinions as well as predictions has really opened my mind and eyes to what we can expect from the Dallas Cowboys, for the upcoming season, in my humble opinion.

First of all, realistically,Dallas will not go to the Super Bowl this upcoming season.  For as well as the team is coming along the weaknesses are still there and the unknown factors are really there with play calling, offensive line, safety, center and yes coaching staff.  At most,Dallaswill go into the playoffs as a wild card but even that isn’t my first instinct to say yes.

Secondly, a lot of fans are saying 11-5 or 12-4 and finishing first in the NFC East.  Again, realistically,Dallas probably won’t improve their record much more than a game or two.  It is looking more like a 9-7 season and finishing second in the NFC East.  This again will be contributed to growing pains and youth.  Not to mention playing both the NFC South and the AFC North both divisions are very difficult to play against for the most part.

As the season gets closer, I’m looking at pretty much the same as last season, close games, growing pains, penalty killing drives, although hopefully not as many, and a lack of depth at certain positions.

Of course, there are so many variables that could change these and these are just pre-season thoughts, but realistically,Dallasis going to be a better team than last year just not to that point of crowning them six time Super Bowl Champions. Dallas needs to win games this year against teams who aren’t .500 or below and with the NFC East, AFC North and NFC South as strong divisions; it’s going to be another roller coaster ride for the fans.

this season success hinges on two things: 1) Wide receivers: Will Bryant be suspended and Austin return to form, and 2) will there be a marked improvement by the interior o-line.

Dez won’t be suspended. The law and Roger don’t have a case. Time to move on.

Realistically, this blogger (kim Dunning) doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. Seriously, if Murray hadn’t of got hurt in that freak accident, the Giants would have lost both games against the Cowboys, because they wouldn’t have been able to just sit back and tea off on Romo. So, if the hapless Giants can limp in at 9 & 7 and win a Super Bowl, there’s no reason why this years improved Cowboys can’t do the same thing with a 11 & 5 or a 12 & 4 record. And the “growing pains and youth” was last year, moron.

The Cowboys faceD alot of injuries last year not to mention a new wr coach . And the defencedidnt have a chance to learn rob ryans in dept sceams. Cowboys have greatly improved on the defencive side of the ball. Im not saying they will be a superbowl contender but they should be a much better team then last year. Not just by a little but alot. look at what really hurt them last year. Recievers running wrong routes. Giving up way to many passing yards. The draft took care of the second part I believe . And the time they have with the wr coach should fill in the wrong routes being ran. As far as protection for Romo he has had to deal with that since he first took the leading role. Beside the o line gas improved and romo does great when being chased alot of the time.
