In case you didn’t notice, Romo got sacked twice as many times (36-18.) Let’s recap the findings shall we?  In the 1st half of games, Romo took 18 sacks, had 17 TD’s and 4 INT’s for a passer rating of  107.2. Aikman took 7 sacks, had 14 TD’s and 11 INT’s for a passer rating of 89.2.

In the 2nd half of games, Romo took 18 of the 36 sacks, had 14 TD’s, and 6 INT’s for a passer rating of 97.6. Aikman took 7 of the 18 sacks, had 3 TD’s and 5 INT’s for a passer rating of 79.5.

When the cowboys were behind, Romo took 19 of the 36 sacks, had 11 TD’s and 2 INT’s for a passer rating of 102.9. Aikman took 11 of the 18 sacks, had 4 TD’s and 7 INT’s for a passer rating of 71.9. Hmmmm. Does that look like he was better in the clutch to you? Romo was at his very best when the Cowboys were down 9-16 points with a passer rating of 112. 3.

“Ok now just for kicks, let’s compare Romo’s 1st year as a starter, to Aikman after he lost that line. This should be interesting. Seasoned vet with 3 rings vs 1st yr starter. ”

Gosh pretty laughable isn’t it? People can come at me with the Ring thing all they want. At the end of the day, the numbers don’t lie. Troy didn’t win those Super Bowls, “The Team Did”!
