The NFL 2012 Draft Order is Finalized Pending Two Coin Flips

Well, the fat lady has sung and yet another football season has been laid to rest. But with it’s demise comes the dawn of a era of young talent. And on Tuesday, the league announced the final draft order for picking that talent in the 2012 NFL Draft.  Final pending two coin flips, that is. The Miami Dolphins and the Carolina Panthers will toss a coin during next week’s NFL Scouting Combine to determine the 8th and 9th picks. The same will be done by the Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks for the 11th and 12th picks.

Both of these coin tosses are for slots ahead of the Dallas Cowboys at #14. And the draft order could have a huge effect on who is available at that slot for the Cowboys. The early favorites for Dallas’ choice are: David DeCastro, Guard from Stanford. Dre Kirkpatrick, Cornerback from Alabama. Janoris Jenkins, Cornerback from North Alabama. And Quinton Coples, Defensive End from North  Carolina.
