Major league Baseball’s Reggie Jackson earned the nickname ‘Mr October’ because regardless of the regular season, Reggie always played his best, which was great, in October. That’s who he was. It has been said to never under-estimate the power of emotion in rivalry games. If you have any doubts about that statement, you didn’t watch the Dallas Cowboys narrowly defeat the Washington Redskins in overtime this Sunday, 27-24. Laurent Robinson: Can he continue the success he has had the past few weeks? With Miles Austin out of the lineup, the Cowboys and Tony Romo have relied a lot on Robinson to make up for the loss of Austin. Robinson came up huge last weekend against the Bills, burning them for 73 yards but most importantly 2 touchdowns. He is giving Romo that 3rd option he was missing the last time Austin was sidelined. As the Dallas Cowboys prepare to play the Washington Redskins, it pains me to say that they are playing at FedEx Field. I had so much more respect for the Skins when they played at RFK (named for Robert F. Kennedy). I really hope that Jerry Jones never needs a few million dollars bad enough to sell the name of the stadium.
