Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins Review: Special Teams & Defense

This rookie will win more games before this season is over.

The Cowboys were lucky to get a win against the rival Washington Redskins.  If you haven’t done so yet, please buy your Dan Bailey jersey as soon as possible.  Having a reliable kicker is something this team hasn’t had in years.

It seems like ever since Mike Vanderjagt went from being the ‘NFL’s all-time most accurate FG kicker’ to unemployed in less than a season, Dallas has put a curse on all place-kickers who dared to wear the star. Having a kicker like Bailey makes me giddy-like-a-schoolgirl!

As you should know by now, I write these observations after watching the game once, so I miss some things, and there are some things I see wrong.  Your job as faithful and critical readers is to share what you saw with the rest of us.

Hats off to hcreel77 who was the first one to point out (at least on our site) that Bradie James only played one snap against the Bills.
