Tony Romo: How well will he respond this week? The Cowboys got absolutely embarrassed on Sunday night by the Eagles. That being said, Romo played a fairly decent game; his only pick in the game was not his fault, and he took care of the ball. If anything this loss was hung on the defense that couldn’t stop anything. I think Tony played good, not great, but better than the score indicated. I see him having a big bounce back week in terms of yards and touchdowns. He throws for 275 and 3 touchdowns against the Seahawks!
Laurent Robinson: Have the Cowboys found their 3rd wide receiver? I believe they have: had it not been for Robinson last week, the Cowboys wide receivers would have looked even more embarrassing. The only thing that shocks me about Robinson is that in the 3 games the Cowboys have lost he has had 1 touchdown and 262 receiving yards, however in games the Cowboys win he only has 74 yards and no touchdowns. Though this would make you think that the less yards he has the better chance the Boys have to win, I look at it as he is making the best of the chances he is given. I see Robinson having a 30 yard receiving week and most importantly the Cowboys picking up the win.
Bradie James or Keith Brooking: Can they replace Sean Lee? Lee has been a defensive star for the Cowboys this season and it has made James and Brookings time on the field less and less. However, Lee has an injured wrist and looks as though he won’t play this weekend. This is a great chance for both James and Brooking to make a case for more playing time. Although I believe they won’t take any time away from Lee once he returns, it is a chance for them to get some playing time. The big question is can they be the force in the middle that Lee has been for the past few weeks, can they stop the run and cover all the ground that Lee does? I don’t think they are as quick as Lee, nor do they defend the pass as well as he does. I do think they will do alright for the few weeks that he could be out.
Rob Ryan: How do you make up for the embarrassment that was your defense last week? In the offseason Ryan made comments about the Eagles and their dream team and how the Cowboys were going to kick their you know what. Well that didn’t work out so well last week, and Ryan’s defense looked absolutely awful. Vick and company went up and down the field at will on Sunday night. Ryan in the post-game press conference said the loss was all on him; well he has a chance to redeem himself this weekend. I want to see how a defense that was one of the best in the league responds after just getting beat down.
