The Final Word From Sunday’s Win
Call me a cynic if you want, but I couldn’t agree more with a certain article that I read last week: the Cowboys were really in a no-win situation. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy we won, but we were expected to dominate the Rams. We were expected to exploit their lack of secondary depth and horrible run defense. That was supposed to happen. If we had lost, I cannot begin to imagine the fallout in Arlington (especially if the Rangers had lost, too) and the fans would probably have written off the season. To everyone’s relief, the Cowboys [...]

By Seth Jones. I ntroduction: When you fall off of a horse, it is said that the best thing you can do is to get back on the horse. But what if the horse you fell off of was part demon, 16 feet tall, and made out of burning embers? Well, I don’t imagine that getting back on that particular horse would be very good for your psyche. You need to find a well trained pony. Something that obeys your every command. You need a horse that won’t even ATTEMPT to buck you off. Did the Cowboys find a pony after [...]

Dallas Cowboy rookie running back, DeMarco Murray, had a record breaking day against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Murray rushed for a franchise record 253 yards. His big day prompted congratulations from two of the greatest players ever to wear the star. @Tony Dorsett – “D.Murray congratulations on your performance today for the Cowboys” @EmmittSmith22- “congrats to @DeMarcoMurray AWESOME job …we needed this; In order to be the best, you must be consistent for a long time. Hopefully this is the start of things to come.” Find out Murray’s tweeter response and which of the two he might be [...]
Dallas Cowboys vs. St. Louis Rams – Quick Reactions
Before we go getting too excited about the Dallas Cowboys trouncing the St. Louis Rams yesterday, let us remember: it was the Rams. The Rams were averaging less than 10 points a game on offense before today, and they were giving up more than 25 points a game before facing the Boys, so essentially the Cowboys did what everyone else has done to the Rams. That being said, I think they are many positives that can be taken away from their performance this week.
What else does DeMarco Murray have to do? Seriously? On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys rookie running back rushed for 253 in a 34-7 blowout victory over the St. Louis Rams. Murray broke every single game rushing record ever set by anyone to wear the star…ever. That includes Emmitt and Tony. If that’s not enough to win the starting job for the rest of the season, then you better start sending scouts off-planet to find their players. I understand the knock some fans and maybe even some of the Dallas’ coaching staff might have about Murray’s accomplishments on Sunday. Yes, the [...]
The Dallas Cowboys have been performing their own version of ‘Waiting to Exhale’ since the season began. They’ve been making the Cowboy Nation collectively hold our breath with every lead, every interception, every game! Well, after yesterday’s game was over, I have to admit, though we are just 6 games into this mad season, I exhaled a little bit. I know!, I know!, silly me, right?. The first sign of any dominance by these Dallas Cowboys and, yes, I got weak. I let out a little ‘WHEW’…and that’s not all. I also let out a ‘FINALLY‘, and even a ‘THANK [...]
