Many expected Dallas Cowboy Rookie DeMarco Murray to get the start against the St. Louis Rams this afternoon. But according to this tweet from Cowboy Insider Josh Ellis, RB Tashard Choice will get the start instead:
Despite Choice getting the start, it’s expected for both running backs to get plenty of opportunities against the Ram’s terrible run defense. But to give the starting nod to Choice bolds well for the Boy’s confidence in him. This after he lost a key fumble and failed to convert a key third down last week against the New England Patriots. Both backs will be filling in for the injured Felix Jones (ankle). Jones is expected to be out for at least 2-4 weeks. Also look for Rookie Phillip Tanner to get a few touches today as well.
