Your Fantasy Forecast: Dallas Cowboys vs. St. Louis Rams

By Greg Bailey: We find ourselves in a sports feud with St. Louis. Rangers and Cardinals, Cowboys and Rams. The difference: the Rangers are playing for the right to be Champions. Dallas is playing just to stay alive. And at 2-3, we need this win to propel us up in the NFC standings. Will the Cowboys fulfill the hype that their roster of stars promised? Or do we hope for a low draft pick next year instead?

Here’s the number one issue: the Cowboys have been without a dominant running back since the days of the League’s all time leading rusher, Emmitt Smith. Where is #22′s replacement? I don’t think it’s another running back from Arkansas or a player with the last name Jones. Not hating on Felix Jones, but he’s injured once again. So, who will step up this week? Romo? Perhaps….

Here is my Fantasy Forecast:

Quarterbacks:

DAL: T. Romo – 300 yds, 3 TDs, 0 Int

StL: S. Bradford – 180 yds, 1 TDs

Running Backs:

DAL: D. Murray / Choice – 100 yds total 0 TDs

StL: S. Jackson – 110 Total yards, 1 TDs

Wide Receivers:

Dal: M. Austin – 7 / 100 yds, 1 TD

Dal: D. Bryant – 5 / 90 yds, 1 TD

Dal: J. Witten – 9 / 70 yds, 1 TD

StL: B. Lloyd 5 / 70 yds 1 TD

StL: D. Alexander – 5 / 60 yds 0 TD

StL: L. Kendricks – 3 / 35, 0 TD

Kickers:

Dal: D. Bailey – 2 FG / 3 XPs

StL: J. Brown – 1 FG / 1 XPs

GAME PREDICTION: Rangers hopefully will dominate this baseball series and hopefully it will rub off on Dallas. StL 10 – DAL 28

The passing game favors Dallas. Bradford will not be standing off or on the field.– Advantage Dallas

The running attack will be a two headed monster, where Murray makes his Sooner debut. Bring it. However, they won’t put up great enough numbers to merit a start from any of the Running Backs (unless in a PPR league) . – Advantage Dallas

The Cowboys have Miles and Dez back in good health. Rams acquired Lloyd, but he hasn’t had enough time to gel with Bradford (who’s injured) – Advantage Dallas

Kickers – Dan Bailey has been accurate. We’ve needed this consistency since the glory days. – Advantage Dallas

Who will be the fantasy stud this week?
