Felix Jones: Will last week’s performance carry over? Jones finally showed at times last week at why he was given the job. The only thing Cowboys fans hope is that it continues every week. Jones played a solid game considering he was injured. I see a 75 yard performance with no touchdowns.
Kevin Olgetree: Can someone else step up with Austin down and Bryant hurting? Last week it was obvious that Romo was looking forWittenon every play and that means he had no faith in his other guys. That has to change, if the Cowboys are going to beat the Lions than other guys have to step up. I see a 50 yard performance for Olgetree; still not sure he can feel in forAustinthe way we need him to.
Whoever is playing center: Can someone get Romo the ball when he asks for it and not just any time in the snap count? This week the center and Romo had 4 missed snaps and they all almost cost the Cowboys. That CAN NOT happen against the Lions and their D they will eat those balls up and make you pay for it.
Dan Bailey: Can he continue to be perfect on kicks as he was Monday Night? Bailey made us forget about our kicker problems for at least one week. Yes I know he missed a chip shot inSan Franciscobut he was money on Monday Night. He might be needed to be that again with the Cowboys troubles getting in the end zone! I see 2 field goals for Bailey, I hope that’s because he is kicking more extra points.
The secondary: Can they contain Calvin Johnson? No one this season has been able to contain Calvin Johnson as he has mowed through secondary but if the Cowboys have a chance to win they have to stop him. He can get yards but they have to stop him from getting in the end zone.
Marcus Spears: Can he ever play to the level we thought when we drafted him? He filled in last week for Jason Hatcher after his injury and had a key sack for the Cowboys late. Spears has been a bust to say the least and it is very disappointing. He has shown signs of being a good player but never seems to be consistent, if Hatcher is going to miss time than we need him to step up and play big.
Sean Lee: Can he keep up the great play? He was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week which is impressive considering the guys he was up against. Will this continue or has his play been a fluke? I tend to believe the former and see Lee being a huge guy for the Cowboys this season; I mean the guy is everywhere all the time. Lee keeps up the work he is going to continue to be rewarded and the Cowboys would love to see that.
