The Dallas Cowboys lose another key player to injury

Offensive guard Derrick Dockery started his first game for the Dallas Cowboys last week. Now it seems that game could have been his last…at least for a while. Dockery suffered a sprained MCL and a broken tibia in Sunday’s overtime victory against the San Francisco 49ers. There has been no time table set for his return, but he’ll probably be out for multiple weeks.

Dockery was signed earlier this year to add depth and veteran leadership to the young offensive line after guard Montrae Holland was released. This injury comes at a particularly bad time since Dockery will now miss the chance to face his old team, the Washington Redskins.

Dockery will be replaced in the starting lineup  by rookie Bill Nagy.
