Cowboys Sign 1st Round Pick Tyron Smith

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Cowboys have agreed to terms with Tyron Smith. No doubt, the new CBA rules made the signing the rookie much easier. It’s not known if Smith was at practice this morning, but now that it’s official, he should be on the field.

They agreed to a four year deal worth $12.5 million, all guaranteed. Compared to last year’s ninth pick overall, CJ Spiller, that’s a bargain — almost half the amount of Spiller’s contract.
