Next up on the Cowboys’ chopping block — Roy Williams

The topic of Roy Williams’ future with the Cowboys has been hotly debated. Obviously, he’s hasn’t earned his keep with the Cowboys, but he does provide the team with depth. It was questionable whether or not the ‘Boys felt like guys like Kevin Ogletree could step up and take his place as the third receiver. Not to mention, many have had doubts about Dez taking over as number two. Well, we now know how the Cowboys feel about that. Roy Williams has joined the list of cuts that have been coming out of Valley Ranch.

Just to be honest, I’m thrilled about this. Roy has been a poor fit right from the get go. He’s mental, overrated, and oblivious. Still, I won’t be too hard on him. After all, this is the second time he’s been dumped in the last month.
