Jerry Jones Gets Permission To Attend Tony Romo’s Wedding

During the NFL lockout, NFL teams are not supposed to have contact with players, however, owners and team officials are allowed to attend personal matters like weddings, funerals and medical issues. That didn’t stop Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones from getting “special permission” to attend the event.

I’ve gotten special permission,” Jones said, according to ESPN. “But more than anything, [I got the] right ticket from him and his fiancee — Romo’s wife to be. [It's] one of prettiest invitations I’ve ever seen.

“So, yes, I will be there and [I'm] proud for him. He’s got the best end of this deal.”

Most of Romo’s teammates are expected to attend the wedding, after receiving invitations from their star quarterback. Romo will be tying the knot with the 2008 Miss Missouri USA and former television reporter, Candice Crawford.

“It’s going to be a fun day,” Romo said earlier this week. “When you have the right one, you just know.”
