NFL Draft 2011: Mike Mayock Predicts Cowboys Will Draft Tyron Smith

NFL Network’s draft guru Mike Mayock finally released his first mock draft. When it comes to the Cowboys selection at pick 9, Mayock has Dallas passing over Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara in favor of USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith.

“I think the Cowboys would like to trade down here, but this kid is talented. Dallas can plug him in at right tackle, and he upgrades the youth and athleticism of the offensive line,” explains Mayock.

When it comes to the other picks in the NFC East Mayock has Amukamara to the Redskins, running back Mark Ingram to the Giants, and the Eagles taking Gabe Carimi to improve the offensive line.

How accurate will Mayock be on draft day? We will have to wait and see. Until then, you can see his FULL first round mock draft by CLICKING HERE.
