Cowboys Targeting USC OT Tyron Smith?
Over at DraftTek.com, a man named “Long Ball” made an interesting observation in his latest mock draft. According to LB, he has heard from two sources that say the Dallas Cowboys have requested more film on USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith than any other team. Offensive tackle is a huge need for the team and Smith is a quick rising prospect, so could there be some credibility to these claims? Wes Bunting has also stated he’s hearing Smith will make a top ten push after his Pro Day. ”Hearing that once USC OT Tyron Smith works out for NFL teams, teams would [...]

Von Miller Wants To Be A Dallas Cowboys
In the final weeks leading up to the draft, many NFL draft prospects will be asked if they have a preference when it comes to where they will play professional football. Most will shy away from the question and give a cookie cutter response like, “I will just be happy to get drafted.” This isn’t the case for Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller. Miller was on ESPN Radio 103.3-FM (KESN) in Dallas and openly stated that he would love to play football for the Dallas Cowboys. “I always saw myself with that blue star on the side of my helmet,” [...]

The Deadspin report reads: New England Patriots safety Brandon Meriweather allegedly shot two men, one of them in the head, during a fight on February 27 outside a house party in Apopka, Florida, according to John Morgan, attorney for the victims. The trouble started at [...]
Cowboys Continue To Check Out Cam Newton
The Dallas Cowboys first expressed interest with Auburn quarterback, Heisman winner, National Champion, entertainer and icon, Cam Newton at the NFL Scouting Combine. Dallas spend fifteen minutes interviewing the quarterback and they have traveled to his Pro Day, which took place today. It unlikely that the Cowboys will select Newton with the 9th overall pick. Not only does the team have to address some serious needs on the defensive side of the ball, but Newton will almost certainly be off the board before Dallas is on the clock. Even though the chances of Newton to the Cowboys are slim to none, it [...]
First-round, and likely top ten picks, cornerback Patrick Peterson of LSU and Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller took time out of their busy schedules to appear on Galloway & Company today. Miller was on at 3:30, but you still have time to catch Patrick Peterson’s interview. To listen to Peterson, CLICK HERE.
Cowboys Quiet in Free Agency… Accidentally?
For the past two seasons, the Dallas Cowboys have been quiet in the off-season player grab known as free agency. They have avoided pitfalls that have plagued teams like the Washington Redskins. The question is raised however, “Is this by design?” It has been suggested that owner Jerry Jones is too busy negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement leaving minimal time for the general manager Jerry Jones to court free agents. Jones has been quoted as saying: “It’s even more embarrassing when you’re here and you’re evaluating talent. You get uniformly across the board an assessment where our talent is, [...]
Dez Bryant Says Rehab Is Going Well
Sensational Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had his rookie campaign come screeching to an abrupt stop when he suffered a broken ankle. According to Bryant, his ankle rehab is going well and everyone should be optimistic for his full recovery. “My rehab is fine,” Bryant said. “I’ve been hearing a lot of stories about how Michael Irvin came off his ACL [in 1989] and how he was so ready to get back out there. I kinda feel the same way, that’s where my mindset is. His story motivates me so much of getting back out there [it] just makes me [...]
