Dez Bryant Gets Criminal Trespass Warning

According to police reports, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was given a criminal trespassing warning from an off duty officer on Saturday at NorthPark Center Mall in Dallas. Bryant and some friends were asked by security to pull up their pants because their underwear was showing. Bryant however told ESPNDallas.com that his pants were up it was his friends pants that were down.

WFAA-TV in Dallas reported that Bryant was banned from the mall for three months, however Bryant’s advisor David Wells said “That’s not true. I was there; it didn’t happen”.According to the police report Bryant used profanity and created a commotion when approach by the off duty officers.  Bryant told police at the scene he wasn’t leaving till his attorney and representative got there.

“What the [expletive] are you stopping me, like I stole something,” Bryant supposedly said. “I’m not leaving until my attorney and my representative get here.”

Police reports also said that Bryant has had issues at this mall before including an incident where he cut someone in line and caused a commotion and a parking citation in a fire zone. Bryant was also reportedly involved in an “major disturbance” before with a women at the mall, the police were called but both Bryant and the women were gone when police arrived.

Bryant had this to say about the incident on Saturday, “I told the guy I’m not trying to get in trouble”. I’m not trying to destroy my image. The [warning] wasn’t  towards me. I was trying to figure out what was going on. It was a big misunderstanding. I was the wrong guy.”
