Cowboys Hire Jimmy Robinson As New Wide Receivers Coach
The Cowboys finally filled the vacancy left by Ray Sherman at the wide receivers coaching position. Jason Garret has hired former Green Bay wide receivers coach Jimmy Robinson as assistant head coach and as the team’s new wide receiver coach. The move comes just about a week after the Packers won Super Bowl XLV against the Steelers. Garrett and Robinson have previously worked together from 2000-2003, during their time with the New York Giants. Robinson was the team’s wide receiver coach, while Garrett was the backup quarterback. Robinson helped develop the likes of Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones and [...]

Shaun Rogers Would Be A Great Fit In Dallas
The Cleveland Browns recently released veteran nose tackle Shaun Rogers. People instantly started mentioning the obvious connection between he and Cowboys new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, who previously coached Rogers in Cleveland. Ryan has raved about Rogers’ ability in the past saying, “He is a tremendous physical specimen. He is so athletic for a big man. I’ve been around the best in football. I’ve been around Warren Sapp in college. I coached Jamal Williams and Kevin Williams, a couple of decent All-Pro defensive tackles. . . . Shaun Rogers is tremendous. Absolutely tremendous. Any system that he plays in, he [...]
Todd McShay Has Cowboys Going DE In Latest Mock Draft
In his previous mock draft, ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay had penciled in Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara as the pick for the Dallas Cowboys when they’re on the clock at pick number nine. In his updated version of his mock draft, McShay has gone a different direction. The pick is now Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt. Watt would fill a huge need for the Cowboys at defensive end. Here are McShay’s thoughts on Watt to the Cowboys: The team’s most pressing need is for a 5-technique (defensive end) in its 3-4 scheme. The Cowboys are also aging along the offensive line [...]

The NFL is continuing to attempt to right it’s wrong which left 400 fans without seats at this past weekend’s Super Bowl XLVI between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. The Super Bowl ticket fiasco just got a little stranger. It all started when a local fire marshal did not approve of temporary seating in Cowboys Stadium. The league knew about the issue, but never informed 400 ticket holders that their seats would not be available. Instead, the ticketed customers found out when they showed up on gameday that they did not have seats. The suit, which was filed in federal court in Dallas, accuses the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones of breach of contract, fraud and deceptive sales practices. More lawsuits are coming both on behalf of the [...]
