Roy Williams Will Be Sticking Around.

James Williamson

According to Calvin Watkins the Cowboys seem unlikely to release Roy Williams. Watkins points out three reason why Williams will possibly be remaining with the team. The money Williams is suppose to make next season, the Cowboys lack of a number three wide receiver and the injury of Dez Bryant.

The Cowboys while good at the top two wide receiver position after Williams there is not really much else  in terms of receiving help. Bryant had a fantastic rookie season but was injury plagued the entire season and his season ended early due to an ankle fracture. Williams is going to be needed just in case there is a set back in Dez’s recovery.

Though Williams has not always been a fan favorite, he reportly doesn’t see eye to eye with Coach Garrett and he might just be the main piece of what will go down as one of the worst trades in Cowboys history. That being said are you excited for him to return? Can he have a good 2012 or are we going to see the same old Roy?
