Cowboys Targeting Strength And Conditioning Coach Mike Woicik

Strength and conditioning coach Mike Woicik could be coming back to Dallas after spending 11 seasons with the New England Patriots. Woicik is expected to fly to Dallas today to meet with the team. He is the only player or coach with six Super Bowl rings. Woicik won three with Dallas (1993, 1994, 1996) and three with the Patriots (2001, 2003, 2004).

Woicik was the Cowboys strength & conditioning coach from 1990 to 1996, when the team went 89-38, including 12 playoff wins. He then spent the next three seasons with the New Orleans Saints before joining the Patriots in 2000 when Bill Belichick took over.

Woicik was named the NFL’s strength coach of the year in 1992 and 2004 by the Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Society. His return to the team could make a huge impact and prove to be one of the most underrated signings this offseason.
