Cowboys Close To Hiring Defensive Line Coach

It is only a matter of time until the Dallas Cowboys add another face to their new coaching staff. Multiple sources are saying that the Cowboys are close to hiring Brian Baker as the team’s next defensive line coach. Baker spent the past two seasons with the Carolina Panthers and was let go when John Fox was fired.

According to the reports, Baker signed a contract to coach at North Carolina. The Cowboys came in recently and offered Baker a deal to coach in the NFL and Baker wanted to wait until after national signing day before finalizing any deal.

The Cowboys still need to fill vacancies at the defensive line coach position and they need to find Ray Sherman’s replacement as a receivers coach.
