Spears And Sensabaugh To Test Free Agent Waters

According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, the Dallas Cowboys are are allowing defensive end Marcus Spears and safety Gerald Sensabaugh to test the free agent waters  before they offer them new contract’s. The Cowboys have been looking at players at the Senior Bowl and the Combine for possible replacements for both. Spears was replaced in the starting line up by Stephen Bowen during the 2010 season after injuring his left calf and was later placed on the injury reserve list. Spears was angry at the beginning of the2010  season because the Cowboys tendered him at his original first round pick pay of 1.226 million [...]

Would Tommie Harris Look Good In Dallas?

News broke today that the Chicago Bears have cut ties with 3-time pro bowler Defensive Tackle Tommie Harris. Harris who under preformed for the Bears in the 2010 season, having only recorded 18 tackles and 1.5 sacks in six starts.  Harris was due a 2.5 million bonus in June. Harris started in 90 of  104 career games for the Bears. Despite having a lackluster 2010 season Harris has been one of the dominant players on the Bears defense and was a very important part of the 2006 defense that helped the Bears reach the Super Bowl.  He has a 213 tackles [...]

Ryan Mallett Outshines Cam Newton At NFL Scouting Combine

The Dallas Cowboys have already been a part of the “Cam Newton Show” during the NFL Scouting Combine as they conducted a 15-minute interview with him yesterday. Dallas Cowboys Talk With Notre Dame Nose Tackle Ian Williams

The Dallas Cowboys sat down and met with Notre Dame defensive tackle Ian Williams, who would be a prototypical nose tackle in the Cowboys defensive scheme. Cowboys Will Interview Nebraska Cornerback Prince Amukamara

The Cowboys will be interviewing Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara at the NFL Scouting Combine. Many mock drafts have the Cowboys addressing their secondary needs by selecting Amukamara with the ninth overall pick in the upcoming draft. Marion Barber Donates $500,000 Worth Of Computers To Dallas Schools

Marion Barber may have received some negative attention for his run in with the law last week, but the Cowboys running back deserves all of the praise possible for the good deed he has done. Barber is donating more than $500,000 worth of computers to 21 high schools in the Dallas Independent School District. The $500,000 in computers includes 600 netbooks and 30 desktop computers, according to Jon Dahlander, a district spokesman. “We have things going on right now. Budget cuts. Losing money. Cowboys Start Contract Talks With Kyle Kosier & Stephen Bowen

Starting offensive guard Kyle Kosier missed three games last year due to injury, but he is the guy who makes line calls and he’d like to return to the team.
