Jason Witten And Dez Bryant Honored By Pro Football Weekly

Two Dallas Cowboys players received honors today. Tight end Jason Witten was named to the Pro Football Weekly first-team All-NFL team, while rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant was named to the All-Rookie team. The teams were put together by Pro Football Weekly and the Professional Football Writers of America.

Dez Bryant had 45 catches for 561 yards and six touchdowns in his rookie campaign that was shortened by injury. The dynamic wideout also contributed on special teams by adding two touchdowns. Witten led the NFL among tight ends with 94 catches for 1,002 yards. Witten added nine touchdowns, which was a career high.

In a season that the Cowboys had very little positive news, it is good to see some players being recognized for their performance.
